CAMDEN – Funeral service for Mary Catherine Vincent Davis, 86, will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Camden with burial to follow in Kershaw City Cemetery. The Rev. Bruce Hancock will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church fellowship hall. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Foundation. Mrs. Davis, wife of the late John Milton Davis, passed away on Friday, June 2, 2017. Born in Kershaw, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Pet Catoe Vincent. She retired from Springs Industries and began keeping children in her home for many years. She was a member of First Baptist Church and enjoyed playing the piano and singing. She was known as “Nana”. Surviving are her children, Pamela D. Searcy (Glenn), Mike Davis (Betty), Chris V. Davis (Deneese), brothers, Bruce Vincent (Ann) of Birmingham and Clarence Vincent (Nancy) of Lancaster; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 2 sisters and 6 brothers.
