Obituary of Virginia J Harris
LUGOFF - Funeral service for Virginia J. Harris, 79, will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at El-Bethel Faith Community Church with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Rev. Joe Stines will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to El-Bethel Faith Community Church.
Mrs. Harris, wife of the late Robert J. Harris, died Sunday, February 11, 2007. Born in Darlington, she was the daughter of the late Joe Davis and Marie Moore James. She retired after 41 years as a Beautician and was a member of El-Bethel Faith Community Church.
Surviving are son, Joseph R. Harris and his wife, Linda of Camden; daughters, Marie Hinson and her husband, Billy of Lugoff, and Diane Moore of Lugoff; brothers, Joe C. James and his wife, Betty of Darlington, and Clifton James and his wife, Pat of Brittons Neck; grandchildren, Stacey Moore, Tina Moore, Ricky (Edie) Hinson, Tammy (Sonny) Boatwright, Randy (Brenda) Hinson, Mike (Linda) Harris, Chris (Georgia) Harris, Mark (Carla) Harris, Gayle (Earl) Wilson, and Mindy (Jim) Hopkins; great-grandchildren, Kayla Koumas, Jerisan Boozer, Carter Steele, Ricky Hinson Jr., Travis Hinson, Jason Hino, Michael Hino, Rob Lyons and his wife, Julie, Heather Boatwright, Christopher Harris, Tiffany Harris, Ethan Harris, Trisha Wilson, Matthew Wilson, Caleb Wilson, Joey Wilson, Justin Harris, Brandon Harris, Jenna Harris, Ashley Hopkins, Amanda Furniss, Charlie Furniss, Johnathan Harris, Andrew Harris, Kagen Reynolds, and Olivia Hinson; and great-great grandchildren, Hannah and Joe Hino. She was predeceased by a son-in-law, Leslie Moore.
