ELGIN - Edward Bowman entered into eternal rest on Saturday, May 19, 2017 at Palmetto Health Richland. He was a native of Norfolk, Va., born on October 7, 1949. He was the son of the late Corrine Walker and Edward Bowman. He was a very kind and loving person. He will be missed by his family and many friends. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Ellen; daughter, Thiopia Bowman Stack (Darrell); brother, Clinton Bowman (Shirley); granddaughter, DaKatur Stack; brother-in-law, David Chestnut; special friend, Floyd Hudson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. A time of gathering to celebrate Edward’s life will be held Tuesday, May 23, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. til 1:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff.
