Obituary of Gloria Spitzer
CAMDEN – Funeral service for Gloria Outlaw Spitzer, 68, will be held on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church with burial to follow in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Lyn Hill will officiate. The family will receive friends Friday 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff.
Mrs. Spitzer passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2017. Born in Sanford, N.C., she was the daughter of the late John D. Outlaw and Marjorie Mayer Scott. She was the former owner and operator of Dusty Bend Entertainment and more recently owned and Operated Spitzer’s Florist. She was a member of Lyttleton Street United Methodist Church. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and making Christmas Stockings for all of the family.
Surviving are her husband, Paul Andrew Spitzer; sons, Bryan Scott Spitzer (Abby) of Camden, Christopher John Spitzer (Missy) of Camden, and Paul Andrew Spitzer Jr. (Morgan) of Camden; siblings, Dan Outlaw (Liz) of Camden, Pat Hartis of Columbia, Sally Eldreth (Rick) of Pawleys Island, Bob Outlaw (Lisa) of Columbus, Ohio, Tammy Clay (Greg) of Bennettsville, S.C. and Melanie Black of Charleston, S.C.; 6 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild. She was predeceased by brother, Frankie Outlaw.
