KERSHAW – A graveside service for Frances S. Gaskin, 98, will be held Friday at 11am in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Mrs. Gaskin passed away May 16, 2017. Born in Johnston, SC, on April 6, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Henry M. Salter and Alice Satcher Salter. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Camden and the Greenville Garden Club. She was a loving mother and nurse, who spent time taking care of many family members. Surviving are her husband of 77 years, Grover C. Gaskin, Jr.; son, George S. (Karan L.) Gaskin; 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; many loving nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Grover Owen Gaskin; 4 sisters and 3 brothers.
