LUGOFF - Funeral Mass for Maria Luisa Collins, 27, will be celebrated Thursday at 12:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. The Rosary will be held Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. and a prayer vigil at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Memorials may be made to Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 1709 Lyttleton Street, Camden, S.C. Mrs. Collins died September 1, 2008. Born in Mexico City, Mexico, she was a daughter of Macedonio Resendiz Zuniga and the late Ana Salmeron Ruiz. She received her Bachelor of Textile Degree from Instituto Politecnica Nacional College and was an ISO/TS Compliance Officer and Physical Lab Supervisor with Kawashima. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church where she was a supporter of the Spanish mass and community. Mrs. Collins was into the latest fashions and enjoyed E-bay sales. She also enjoyed exercising and was into health and fitness. She loved all the family functions in the U.S. and Mexico and the Ballads of Luis Miguel. She was a caring and loving wife, mother and friend. Surviving are her husband, Gregg Collins; daughter, Eliana Guadalupe Collins; father, Macedonio Resendiz Zuniga; and brother, Mauricio Resendiz Salmeron.
