Obituary of Henry FitzGerald
ELGIN—Funeral mass for Henry Clair FitzGerald, 90, will be held Monday at 12:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Father Francis Travis will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service in Saint Mary’s Hall. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association at P.O. Box 5216, Glen Allen, VA 23058.
Mr. FitzGerald, husband of the late Mary Louise FitzGerald, died Thursday, February 21, 2013. Born in Berwyn, PA, he was the son of the late Thomas and Clara Johnson FitzGerald. He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. He served in the U.S. Army and fought in the Battle of the Bulge during WWII. Mr. FitzGerald enjoyed spending time with his family.
Surviving are his daughter, Marianne F. Stephans (Kevin) of Lugoff; step-children, Jerry Wolff (Dawn) of Beaufort, NC, David Wolff of Grand Junction, CO, Tom Wolff (Carol) of Sauderton, PA; sister, Betty Giannone of East Norriton, PA; grandchildren, Hank Cooper, Erin Stephans, Jessica Stephans, Brandon Stephans, Jerry Wolff, Travis Wolff, Denise Hand, Danny Wolff, Jonathan Wolff, and Jason Wolff; 7 great-grandchildren; and 4 great great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, and brothers, Thomas FitzGerald, Donald FitzGerald, and Father John FitzGerald.
