CAMDEN – Funeral services for Anita Marie Beckulhimer Meeks, 69, will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. at El-Bethel Faith Community Church, with burial to follow in Hardshell Cemetery. The Rev. Joe Stines will officiate. The family will receive friends Sunday from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Mrs. Meeks passed away Thursday, March 2, 2017. Born in Huntington, W.V., she was a daughter of the late Robert “Rocky” and Helen Marie Porter Beckulhimer. Mrs. Meeks was a member of El-Bethel Faith Community Church. She enjoyed traveling, reading, and watching old TV shows and westerns. Surviving are her fiancé, Wallace “Ray” Bennett, Jr. of Camden; daughter, Mistie Farley (Kevin) of Melbourne, FL; sons, Michael “Mikie” Meeks (Stephanie Bonck) of Cape Canaveral, FL; Ryan Meeks of Brandon, FL; sisters, Brenda Sue Turner (Donald) of Scott Depot, W.V.; Roberta Beckulhimer of Wytheville, Va; and grandchildren, Tyler, Logan, and Alana Farley; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends. She was predeceased by her beloved twin sister, Juanita Louise Price.
