CAMDEN – A memorial service for Michael Branham Reeves, 72, will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. The Rev. Richard Cameron will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to PETS, Inc. Mr. Reeves died Monday, February 25, 2013. Born in Camden, he was the son of the late Archie Otto and Cora Mae Branham Reeves. He served in the United States Army in Vietnam and retired from DuPont. He was a saxophonist who had a passion for music and was a talented Wildlife Artist. Mr. Reeves was a wonderful father and loved his dog, “Sam”. Surviving are his daughter, Tanya Schiavone (James) of Apex, N.C.; son, Shawn Reeves of Columbia; brother, Gerald Reeves (Lillian); and granddaughter, Carson Ray.
