BETHUNE – Funeral services for Marion D. Jeffcoat, 79, will be held Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Rev. Brenda Hill will officiate. The family will receive friends from 2pm – 3pm at the Funeral Home. Mr. Jeffcoat passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on February 5, 2017. Born in Bullswamp, SC, on May 4, 1937, he was the son of the late Legare Alexander and Marie Argoe Jeffcoat. Mr. Jeffcoat was a retired truck driver. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Juno Hill Jeffcoat; children, Marian Kay Jeffcoat-Potter of Bethune, Tony (Sara) Jeffcoat of Gaston, Kathy (Shan) Atkinson of Bethune, Tracy Jeffcoat, Sr. of Bethune, Terry (Revonda) Jeffcoat of Bethune, 16 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by one grandchild, a sister, and 5 brothers. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kershaw Health Hospice or Juno Jeffcoat.
