CASSATT- Funeral services for Lynnette Cassandra McFarlin Bowers, 36, will be held Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Cassatt Baptist Church. The Rev. Keith Coates will officiate. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Born in Flint, MI, she was the daughter of Sallie Jo Jackson McFarlin and the late Charles Lee McFarlin. Mrs. Bowers was a member of Cassatt Baptist Church. She enjoyed doing yardwork, riding 4-wheelers, and spending time with her family especially her grandchild, Bentley. Surviving are her husband, Marshall Clay Bowers; daughters, Kaitlin Bowers of Cassatt, Laci Bowers of Cassatt; mother, Sallie McFarlin of Hurley, VA; step-children, Elizabeth Privette (Michael) of Camden, Rebecca Bowers of Lugoff, Cera Bowers of Elgin, Jacob Bowers of Irmo, William Bowers of Cassatt; brother, Jamie Jackson (Tiffany) of Bishopville; sisters, Amanda Hinson (David) of Cassatt, Stephanie Bowers (Jeremy) of Westville; grandson, Bentley Bowers; and 10 step-grandchildren.
