CASSATT – A memorial service for Thomas Keith Simon, 57, will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. The Rev. Homer Hinson will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 647 Lachicotte Road, Lugoff, S.C. 29078. Mr. Simon died Wednesday, February 20, 0213. Born in Camden, he was a son of Dixie Ann Simon Wilson. He enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening and spending time with family and friends. Surviving are his wife, Evelyn Tidwell Simon; daughter, Candy Lane (Johnny) of Gaston; step-daughter, Wendy Odom (Ken); step-son, Marshall Bowers (Lynette); daughter-in-law, Pam Bowers; siblings, Kim, Cheryl, Kinny Sue, Ricky and Kerry; 15 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and special uncle, Bill Simon and family. He was predeceased by step-son, Christopher Bowers; and siblings, Terry and Tonya.
