CAMDEN – Funeral service for Carrie Belle “Totsy” Scott, 88, will be held on Saturday at 12:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Saturday 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. prior to the service at Powers Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes or Gideons International. Mrs. Scott, wife of the late Henry Scott, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 28, 2016. Born in Camden, she was the daughter of the late Jake K. Elliott and Lucy Wilson Elliott Horne. She received her B.S. Degree from the University of South Carolina and worked as an R.N. for Kershaw County Memorial Hospital and retired in 1995 after 22 years as a nurse at DuPont. She faithfully attended Malvern Hill Baptist Church and enjoyed reading. Surviving are her daughters, Cheryl Colvin (Charles) of Camden and Nancy Price (Richard) of Lake Wateree; grandchildren, Amy Price Gibbons (Ken), Scott Colvin and Jay Colvin (Teresa); and great-grandchildren, Hannah Colvin, Brycen Colvin, Easton Colvin, Logan Freeman, and Maddox Freeman.
