CAMDEN – Funeral services for Ruby Gardner Tollison, 75, will be held Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at Emmanuel Baptist Church with burial to follow in Fort Jackson National Cemetery. The Rev. Jimmy Atkerson and Rev. Brian Ogburn will officiate. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to KershawHealth Hospice, 124 Battleship Rd, Camden, S.C. 29020. Mrs. Tollison, wife of the late Earl Vernon Tollison, died Monday, February 18, 2013. Born in Camden, She was the daughter of the late Roy and Agnes Sanders Gardner. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with her family. Surviving are her daughter, Pamela Burnham (Robert) of Elgin; sons, Randy L. Tollison (Tammy) of Cassatt and David Tollison (Wendy) of Camden; brother, Jim Gardner (Alice) of Camden; 7 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Mary Gardner of Camden. She was predeceased by her husband; and a brother, Lewis Gardner.
