CAMDEN – A gathering of friends to celebrate the life of Edwin Jones, 64, will be held Monday 5-9 p.m. at 596 Pipeline Road, Camden. Mr. Jones, husband of the late Marlene B. Jones, died Friday, August 8, 2008. Born in Bald Knob, Ark., he was a son of the late Raymond Everette and Zelfa May Sammons Jones. He retired from the United States Army and served in Vietnam. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and NASCAR fan. Surviving are his daughters, Myra LeJeune and her husband, John, and Carolyn Jones; step daughters, Tracy Wood and her husband, Jeff, and Laurie Ellrich and her husband, Patrick; grandchildren, Angelina Allums, Heather LeJeune, Elizabeth LeJeune, John Keith LeJeune II, Jennifer LeJeune, Kimberly Wood, Katelynn Wood, Justin Ellrich, Adam Ellrich, and Taylor Ellrich; and 7 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, Edmund Jones.
