LUGOFF –Thomas Eugene Peters, 63, passed away Friday, October 7, 2016. Born in Pittsburg, PA, he was a son of the late James Aliwisus and Ruby Elizabeth Moseley Peters. Mr. Peters attended services at International Praise Church of God. He was a craftsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting. Surviving are his wife of 47 years, Brenda Diane Morgan Peters; daughters, Melony Peters of Elgin, Reba Hoffman (Michael) of Elgin; son, Christopher Peters of Lugoff; sister, Judy Hall (Norman); brother, James Peters (Brenda); 7 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister, Ann Carraway. A memorial service will be held Friday at 4:30 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 3:30 – 4:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
