CAMDEN – Funeral services for Claretta Briggs Fletcher, 90, will be held Monday at 1:00 p.m. at Sanders Creek Baptist Church with burial to follow in Dry Branch Cemetery. The Rev. Dr. P.L. Griffin will officiate. Mrs. Fletcher, wife of the late Bailey Fletcher, passed away Monday, October 3, 2016. Born in Kershaw County, she was a daughter of the late Johnny Briggs and Callie Salmond Briggs Alexander. Mrs. Fletcher was a member of Sanders Creek Baptist Church, the Sandy Post Auxiliary Club and the Florentina Club. She enjoyed flowers and cooking. Surviving are her daughter, Deborah Fletcher of Camden; son, Vincent Fletcher (Margie Andre) of Cassatt; grandchildren, Vincent Bailey Fletcher II and Brandon Andre Fletcher; and a great-grandchild, Mya Elan Fletcher. She was predeceased by 9 siblings.
