BENNETTSVILLE – Graveside service for Richard Myers Murff, Jr., 63, will be held Thursday, October 4, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in Union United Methodist Church Cemetery, McBee. The Rev. Danny Holley will officiate. The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 3, 2012 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. Memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Mr. Murff died October 1, 2012. Born in Hartsville, he was the son of the late Richard Myers Murff Sr. and Christine Brinson Murff. He enjoyed watching NASCAR. Surviving are his son, Richard Myers “Ricky” Murff, III of Hartsville; brothers, Maurice J. Murff of Camden and Gary M. Murff (Kathy) of Camden; and 2 nephews and 2 nieces.
