Obituary of Annette Ellis Muspratt
CAMDEN – Annette Marie Ellis Muspratt, beloved wife of Anthony E. Muspratt, died September 17, 2016 at Southwinds Assisted Living, Lugoff, SC.
Born in Sumter, SC, on July 10th, 1935 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Fletcher King (Marie Taylor) Ellis. She was a graduate of Edmunds High School, Sumter; and attended the University of South Carolina. She retired from Cogsdill Tool Products after 23 years of service. Her interests include NASA events, astronomy, ham radio qualifying with a Technician Class License call sign KG4GQA. She was a member of the Camden Community Band and loved playing the piano. Above all these interests she was a loving mother and wife.
She enjoyed going to Church, attending St. Mary Madalene Anglican Church, Camden.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Lewis Reid Ellis, Sumter. She is survived by her husband, Anthony E. Muspratt, Camden; her son, Raymond Lee Price III, Lexington; nieces, Marie Ellis Grogan and Emilie Ellis (David W.) Goldman, all of Sumter; numerous great nieces and nephews; and cousins, Frank Morton Hunt II and George Ellis Hunt, Lake Wales, Fla.
UK family listed: step-son, Philip Muspratt; step-daughter, Gail (Graham) Bolger; step-granddaughter, Katy (Richard) Sanders; great step-grandson, Ethan Sanders; step-son, Peter Muspratt; three grandchildren, Liam, Rory & Mica; brother-in-law John (Teresa) Muspratt; and sister-in-law, Carol Reger.
Many thanks for the kindnesses and care of the Staff of Compassionate Care Hospice and Southwinds Assisted Care, shown during her illness over this tenuous period of her life.
Visitation will be held at Powers Funeral Home, 832 Ridgeway Rd, Lugoff, SC 29078 on Wednesday, Sept. 21st from 5-7pm. Funeral services will be held at St. Mary Magdalene Anglican Church, 914 Market St, Camden, SC 29020 on Thursday, Sept. 22nd at 4pm. Interment will follow at Quaker Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary Magdalene Church.
