Obituary of Gary B. Bradley

CAMDEN - Graveside services to be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, September the 13th at the McLeod Chapel in Rembert, South Carolina. Pastor Bruce Hancock of First Baptist Church in Camden will be officiating. As a devoted member of the Camden First Baptist Church, the family asked that in lieu of flowers, donations to the First Baptist Church would be welcomed. Mr. Bradley, 91, husband of Mary Hilton Bradley for the past 67 years, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2016 at the Kershaw Health hospital in Camden. At the conclusion of the War, he attended the Coyne Electrical School located in Chicago, Illinois where he attained his electrical certification. He then succeeded his father’s electrical business, Bradley Electric, where he served the community for many years. Gary was a founding member and the inaugural president of the Mid Carolina Field Trial Club which began in 1960 and continues today. During this time, Gary influenced many generations in the sport of field trialing and had countless positive effects on the sport itself in the half century of service he gave.
