Houston, TX – Funeral services for Quannie B. Jones, 57, will be held Monday, August 22, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Fort Jackson National Cemetery. Mr. Jones passed away August 12, 2016. Born in New Orleans, LA, he was a son of Gladys Williams Jones and the late Samuel Jones, Sr. Mr. Jones enjoyed reading, playing board games, going to the movies, and taking his dogs to the park. Surviving are his wife of 7 years, Shauntell Hills Jones; mother, Gladys Jones; a sister, Valerie Roberson; and a brother, Samuel Jones, Jr.
