CAMDEN – A celebration of life service for Lon Randall Gambrell III, 19, will be held Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Special Olympics. Lon passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2016. Born in Watertown, N.Y., he was a son of Lon Randall, Jr. and Pamela Glass Gambrell. Lon graduated from Camden High School in 2016. He enjoyed all sports especially wrestling, and was an avid fan of all Gamecock Sports. Surviving are his parents, Lon and Pamela Gambrell, Jr.; siblings, Shane Glass, Daniel Gambrell, Riley Shelburne; and a cousin, Bradley Walsh.
