CASSATT - Funeral service for Juanita Branham Bowers, 64, will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Gum Springs Holiness Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. Memorials may be made to Gum Spring Holiness Church. Mrs. Bowers, wife of the late Alton W. Bowers, died Friday, July 18, 2008. Born in Blackstone, Va., she was the daughter of the late Fletcher and Alma Amy Craft Branham. She retired from Springs Cotton Mill. She was a member of Gum Springs Holiness Church and loved to crochet. Surviving are her children, Clarence Bowers and his wife, Buffy of Camden, John “Peanut” Bowers of Cassatt, Patricia Lovett and her husband, Jeff of Cassatt, and Mark Bowers and his wife, Dawn of Cassatt; brothers, James Branham and his wife Alma of York, S.C., Bert Branham and his wife, Virginia of N.Y., and C.W. Stevens of Monroe, N.C.; grandchildren, Stephen Bowers, Nicole Wooten, Scott Rafalco, Brittany Bowers, Ashley Bowers, Hanna Bowers, Cody Bowers, Tyler Bowers, Sherry Bowers, Gabriel Bowers, Wayne Rabon, Jessica Lovett, and Heather Lovett; and great granddaughter, Savannah Wooten. She was predeceased by brothers, Bobby, LeeRoy, and Oliver Branham; and sisters, Ruby Price and Mildred Stevens.
