CAMDEN – Funeral services for Marlene V. Banks, 75, will be held Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Reverend Keith Stewart will officiate. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Mrs. Banks passed away August 6, 2016. Born in Pacolet, SC, on June 30, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Foy Cook and Frances Motts Cook Seay. Surviving are her husband, Richard Garland Banks; children, Richard (Brenda) Todd Banks, Tammy (Dennis) Ham, Trena (John) Brockington, and Tina (Keith) Stewart; grandchildren, Danielle (David) Gray, David (Chassidy) Ham, Amanda (Jason) Baker, Mary Frances Ramey, Marina Harrison, Tyler Banks, Savannah Stewart, Megan (Drake) Plexico, Chad Stewart, and John (Christina) Brockington IV; and great-grandchildren, Ethan Ham, Landon Harrison, Hailey Harrison, Walter Gray, Jennings Ham, Asher & Colson Gray, Max Plexico, Sarah Beth Plexico, Mia Brockington, Marley Brockington, and Jonah Koumas. She was predeceased by her brother, Rev. LaRue Cook and infant sister, Kay Cook.
