BISHOPVILLE – Funeral services for Bobby Norman McCaskill, 78, will be held Thursday at 4:30 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Sim Smith and the Rev. Jerry Gardner will officiate. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Faith Baptist Church, or the Walter M. Crowe Animal Shelter. Mr. McCaskill died Monday, February 4, 2013. Born in Camden, he was the son of the late Sam T. and Etta Mae Elliott McCaskill. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church, and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and farming, and also loved animals. Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Mary Stokes McCaskill; daughters, Gwen Cass (Frank) of Camden, Wanda Milam of Bishopville; 6 Grandchildren; 9 Great-grandchildren; and a sister, Vivian Craig of Lancaster. He was predeceased by a daughter, Barbara Crane; granddaughter, Allyson Crane; and a brother, Sam McCaskill.
