LUGOFF – Funeral services for Jimmie Leroy Ware, 80, formally of Seneca, will be held Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at St. Matthew Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Charles Davis will officiate. Mr. Ware passed away Saturday, July 23, 2016. Born in Westminster, he was a son of the late Rava and Susie Keels Ware. Mr. Ware was a member of St. Matthew Baptist Church. He enjoyed gardening. Surviving are his wife of 24 years, Thelma Scott Ware; daughter, Trenita Joppy (Sam) of Mitchellville, MD; sons, Tracy Ware of Tampa FL, Theodore Ware of Columbia, MD, Timothy Ware (Stephanie) of MD; Sisters, Selema Jones of Washington DC, Mildred Barnet of N.C., Maggie Pearl Speed of Seneca, Joyce Smith of Woodruff; brothers, Lester “Leon” Ware (Kay) of Largo, MD, Paul Ware (Willie Mae) of VA; 5 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and a host of other relatives. He was predeceased by a son, Tryon Leroy Ware.
