CAMDEN – Home Going Celebration for Louise Duren Neal, 99, will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Moriah Baptist Association Center on John G. Richards Road, Camden, SC with burial to follow in the St. John Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Eddie Moore will officiate. The Eastern Star Memorial service will be held on Thursday at 6:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. Mrs. Neal, wife of the late Alfred Neal Jr., passed away peacefully on Friday, July 8, 2016. Born in Kershaw County, she was the daughter of the late Wayman Duren Sr. and Amelia Drakeford Duren. Surviving are her daughter, Sally M. Alexander (Richard) of Camden; son-in-law, Jimmy Sampson; sisters, Alberta Drakeford and Vernice D. Belton; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 28 great great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by son, Willie Neal; daughter, Catherine Sampson; and 13 brothers and sisters.
