LUGOFF – A graveside service for Doris Kelly Hunter, 74, will be held Monday at 12:00 p.m. in Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Eric Boone will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the burial from 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Pine Grove Baptist Church Building Fund. Mrs. Hunter passed away Friday, July 1, 2016. Born in Lugoff, she was a daughter of the late Caldwell and Elizabeth Peak Kelly. Mrs. Hunter was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren, reading, flowers, and crossword puzzles. Surviving are her husband of 55 years, Boswell Earl Hunter; sons, Richard Hunter (Myrtle) of Lugoff, Christopher Hunter (Michelle) of Goose Creek; daughter, Donna Maiden (Todd) of Lugoff; sister, Marie Carroll of Cayce, Pat Kelly of Lugoff, Margie Mitchell (Pete) of Florence; brothers, Kevin Kelly of Lugoff, Donnie “Buck” Kelly of Cayce; 9 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by brothers, Joe and Ronnie Kelly.
