CAMDEN – Funeral services for Peggy Norris Robinson, 81, will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Quaker Cemetery. The Rev. Stephen Jordan will officiate. The family will receive friends Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The World Wildlife Fund. Mrs. Robinson passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2016. Born in Monroe, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Samuel Gavin and Ruby Roland Norris. Mrs. Robinson was a member of Pawleys Island Presbyterian Church. She was an avid reader and enjoyed walking on the beach and being with her lunch bunch group.. Surviving are her daughter, Leslie Robinson of Gainesville, FL; sons, Greg Robinson (Linda) of Camden, Mike Robinson of Hawkinsville, GA; a brother, Sam Norris, Jr. (Leone) of Gadsden, AL; 10 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, John Norris.
