Obituary of Margie Anderson Bullock

Margie Reed Anderson Bullock, 80, of Dana passed away on Saturday March 9, 2024, at Union Hospital in Clinton.

She was born in Cassatt, South Carolina on October 24, 1943, to Eddie Anderson and Leila Cooper Anderson.

Margie was a member of the Beaverdam Baptist Church in South Carolina and she loved to play Bingo. Margie loved and cherished her grandchildren and great-grandchildren more than anything. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the nursing staff that took such excellent care of Margie.

Those preceding Margie in death are her parents; brothers Donald Anderson, Tommy Anderson, Bobby Anderson, Mark Anderson, Dean Anderson; sister Brenda Jordan and son James Cecil “Butch” Bullock Jr.

Margie is survived by her daughters Angie (David) Hicks of Dana, Dede Veillon of Dana and Cindy (Frank) Mediate of Blanford; son Bill (Angie) Bullock of Bethune, South Carolina; brother Joey Anderson of Cassatt, South Carolina; sisters Judy (Herman) Jones of Kershaw, South Carolina and Betty (Frank) Shiver of Camden, South Carolina; grandchildren Lee (Kim), Heather (Daniel), Luke (Katy), Tiffany (Vince), Brittany (Derek), Jesse (April), Kayla, Katie (Jacob), Keri (Josh), Kenzi and Victoria (Austin); fifteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

There will be a celebration of life at the Independent Baptist Church in Montezuma on Thursday March 14, 2024, at 4:00 pm. She will be going back home where there will be a service Sunday March 17, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the Beaverdam Baptist Church with burial to follow in their church cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1-2 pm at Beaverdam Baptist Church.
