LUGOFF - Funeral service for James Philip Branham, Sr., 71, will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park Northeast. Rev. Joe Stines will officiate. The family will receive friends Friday 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial may be made to Hospice of Kershaw County. Mr. Branham died Thursday, June 19, 2008. Born in Camden, he was a son of the late Robert Hobson and Lillie Lometa Hancock Branham. He served in the United States Army and the United States Air Force. He had worked for Skyline Manufacturing (Tic Tac) and retired from DuPont. He enjoyed fishing and golfing. Surviving are his wife of 21 years, Gail Twitty Branham; children, James Philip Branham, Jr., William H. Case, Tammy B. Tyree, Robin P. Branham, and Vickie Williams; step-sons, Terry Threatt, Michael Threatt, Tony Threatt, and Shawn Love; brother, Donald E. (Barbara) Branham of Lugoff; sisters, Annabelle Robinson of Camden, and Pauline Martin of Gresham; and 12 grandchildren. He was predeceased by brother, Robert H. Branham, Jr.; and sister, Katie Marie Case.
