My deepest sympathy to each of you. I was so shocked and saddened to see this obit. I always saw Cheryl when I went to vote! She was always smiling and so sweet! She will be missed by so many. Love and prayers to the entire family. May God bless and comfort you as only He can.

Here it is Tuesday just one very short week ago you left us to go be with Jesus. As I walk through the rooms in our home today; I think about what it must have been like for you and Frankie and Daryl growing g up here. I recalled one photo from our first trip to the beach to go eat and go to Tomlinson’s shopping. This was a stop in Conway. Your last text to me quote”Tommy & Ray are like 2 peas in a pod!” And quote “I covet your prayers!”

Cheryl was a wonderful woman whose faith and love for all around her was so remarkable. She was my grandmother’s best friend and she treated myself, my siblings, and my cousins like her own grandchildren. In June of this year, she traveled from South Carolina to Minnesota to attend my wedding. She helped me into my dress on the day of my wedding alongside my mother and grandmother, and she walked down the aisle with my grandparents during the ceremony. She introduced herself to our wedding coordinator that day as “honorary grandma”. I am so blessed to have known Cheryl and to have been loved by her as an honorary granddaughter. I know she is with the Lord and the memories I have of her are so meaningful. I am sending my love, prayers and regards to all of her family and friends.

So sorry I was not able to attend the Memorial Service yesterday due to illness.
Was shocked to read the obit and learn of the short duration of her final illness.
Cheryl was always one of my favorite people at DuPont. So friendly and caring for others. I know she will be missed by family and close friends at Malvern Hill Church.

My deepest condolences to Tommy and the Jordan family.
I had the honor of knowing Cheryl as a client at my nail shop, Hot Nails in Lugoff. She came to my shop for her nails with her dear best friend, Ms. Virginia Baker. She was always so elegant, kind, and warm.
I am truly heartbroken that that day was the last time I had the privilege of serving her. She will be so deeply missed.
In lieu of flowers, I have made a memorial donation to the Malvern Hill Baptist Church Building Fund in her loving memory.
May she rest in peace.
With sincere sympathy,
LyLy

Cheryl was a really beautiful person inside and out. Always friendly to everyone at the plant. I was on several groups with her and a lot of fun. I know she will be missed by all, who worked with her and she was around with at the plant. God got a beautiful Angel and a sweet one.

Hello, I’m McKenzie and I am a close family friend of Mrs.Cheryl I wanted to share a memory from my graduation. I’m so grateful she was able to make it to watch me walk the stage. I want to apologize for not being able to make it to the memorial service I will be out of town unfortunately. I send my condolences and my prayers to her and her family. I love her and them as if they were my own blood. Here is the picture from my graduation. She truly was a special woman and such a positive person. She lit up every room she walked in. She was there for everyone and always made sure everyone was happy. God now has you and will take good care of you. Rest in peace and may God be with you.

Tommy and family, I want to extend my deepest and most heartfelt condolences during this incredibly difficult time. There are no words that can truly ease the pain of losing someone so special, but I hope you find comfort in knowing how deeply she was loved, respected, and appreciated by those who had the privilege of knowing her. I was blessed to know her not only as a dedicated co-worker and administrator, but also as a caring and treasured friend.
She had a way of making everything run smoothly, often taking care of the details that others never even noticed.
Working alongside her was a privilege, but having her as a friend was a gift.
Her absence leaves a space that cannot be filled, but her kindness, dedication, and friendship will remain in my heart. I am grateful for the time we shared and for the blessing of having known such a wonderful person.
She was truly one of a kind, and she will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
