Obituary of Terry Lee Price

Terry, son of the late Jerry Donald Price, and Elizabeth A. Brown, and Step-son of the late Marion L. Brown, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his wife, children and family on 9/18/2026.  

Born in Great Falls, S.C., he graduated with an Associate’s degree in Business from Limestone College and enjoyed a long and successful 45-year career as an employee with DuPont.  During his tenure, Terry worked at 3 different DuPont worksites; Camden May Plant, Savannah River Plant in Aiken S.C., and DuPont Spruance Plant in Richmond, VA.  He was well liked and respected by all who knew him within the company.  Terry’s job responsibilities included, Personnel Management, Process Management, ATO, Business Process Consultant, Senior Safety, Health, & Environmental Consultant.

Terry moved to Richmond, VA in 1996 where he later met his loving wife, Audrey, and they’ve been inseparable since 2002, happily married since 2009.  Terry & Audrey bought their home in 2007 “in the country” west of Richmond on several acres where Terry could pursue his love of gardening, which he was especially good at.  Terry loved fishing and never missed an opportunity to go to the beaches of SC and fish with his brothers on the piers.  Upon his retirement from Dupont in 2023, he was finally able to relax and enjoy a life of leisure, pursuing all of his hobbies and interests which he absolutely enjoyed every second of.

Terry was a beloved and treasured husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him and he never met a stranger.  Terry was a compassionate soul, yet also a fierce protector with an unwavering, unselfish love for his family.  Terry loved all animals, most especially his pets, he was always so kind, gentle and compassionate towards his domestic and wild furry friends.  Terry will be profoundly missed but will live on in the hearts, souls and minds of all of those who knew and loved him.

Left to treasure his memory is his wife, Audrey L. Price.  Siblings: sister Donna Pettigrew, brothers, Darrell Price, Bobby Price (Melissa) and Stepbrother Duane Brown (Laura).  Children: Lance E. Price (Stephanie Collins) of Lugoff, Tara Price (Amber) of Lugoff, and step-daughter Brittany DeLara of Powhatan, VA.  Terry also leaves behind 4 grandchildren: Chandler Price, Carson Price, Roxanne Price, and Collins Price.

Family & friends are invited to a public visitation on Thursday, September 24, 2026 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Powers Funeral Home in Lugoff, SC.  A private family Memorial Service will be held at a later date. The family appreciates your thoughts and prayers during this time.
