Obituary of Vickie H. Shirley
Vickie Holshouser Shirley, a true beacon of love and light in the world, was born on February 13, 1960, in Camden, South Carolina. Her lively spirit and infectious enthusiasm for life left an indelible mark on those blessed to know her. She lived her 66 years with an abundant joy that radiated to everyone in her presence, illuminating even the darkest corners.
Vickie was a driven entrepreneur who owned and operated Victorian Expression in Camden. Her business was not merely a place of commerce, but a beacon of community where she poured her love into making Brides special occasions memorable and prom dates beautiful. She brought beauty into the lives of others through her innovative floral arrangements. Her passions extended to her community, where she served as the Decorations Committee Chairman and Music Committee Chairman at the Lugoff Church of God. Vickie's love for her community and her commitment to service were as vibrant as the blooms she so skillfully arranged.
Vickie is survived by her loving husband, The Rev. Timothy B. Shirley, who was not only her partner in life but also her partner in love and laughter. Also surviving are her daughter, Erica West of Camden; brother, Randy Holshouser; granddaughter, Haley West; grandson, Carson West; great-grandson, Grayson McElhaney; and many other relatives that she dearly loved.
She was preceded in death by her father, Clyde Holshouser; mother, Mary Alice Ray Osmer; and brother, Ricky Holshouser.
A Celebration of life service will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Lugoff Church of God. A private family burial will be held in Deliverance Tabernacle Cemetery in Camden. Rev. Ed Harris, Rev. Wayne Dority and Rev. Brandon Sinclaire will be officiating.
Memorials may be made to Lugoff Church of God Building Fund.
