To all the family: Pastor Tim, I am so saddened by the passing of your wife Vicki Shirley. My heart breaks knowing that she has passed but the beautiful memories of her will always be with me! The Cameron cousins Christmas parties at Henry’s and speaking with her at church services and functions at Lugoff Church of God were always a wonderful blessing! It’s hard to understand why but God has called her home. I so prayed for her healing but God determined it was time to for her to be with Him. I will truly miss Vicki and I am truly a better person because I got to meet a beautiful person such as her. Praying for the you Tim Shirley and the family that God’s peace and comfort will be with you always during this difficult time.

Years ago, I was very sick. I walked into that Church in Lugoff thinking this is my last hope. I had never been there. Mrs. Vickie Shirley must have sensed by my appearance that something was off. I did not know her from Adam or Eve and vice versa. But you know what she did? She came over and held me like a baby. And held me and held me and held me. And I cried and cried and cried. And she stayed right there with me. I could not believe someone could be so caring. And because of HER that day was the start of a new day for me. Long removed from the Southeast, I have still actively thought of her in utter amazement over the years. She was already an angel! She even had a white dress on that day! She was a total stranger who changed the entire trajectory of my life. Life saver. Fly high and free, Pretty Lady! I bet you have the Big Wings up there. Condolences to the Family. She was a Good One. and Thank you.

Dear Tim, Erica, Haley, & Gray This seems like a horrible nightmare that Vickie is gone. She’s at peace but our hearts are hurting. I loved her and miss her already. The days, months, and years won’t be the same for you all. Just imagine her in her robe of white in a gloried body, no more suffering to endure. You all are in my love and prayers.
