Obituary of Raveen Eugenia Jones

Raveen E. Jones, 46, passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2026. Born on the 18th of May, 1980, in Patterson, New Jersey, was a beacon of strength and dependability to all who knew her. 

She began as a manager for Circle K, where she dedicated 16 years of her life, leaving a lasting impact. She then transitioned to Lexington Medical Center, serving as a receptionist, where she continued to touch lives with her caring and supportive nature. Despite being a homebody, Raveen was never one to shy away from a good book, immersing herself in stories that expanded her understanding and empathy for the human experience. She was also a devoted and unwavering Dallas Cowboys fan, proudly cheering for her team through every season. Raveen always found joy in life's simple pleasures, especially anything in her favorite color, red.

Raveen leaves behind a legacy of love and resilience. She is survived by her siblings, Zekiyia Taylor, Iteiyia Jones and Raymond Jones, Jr.; sister-in-law, Brandie Jones; and a host of nieces, nephews, God kids, cousins and extended family.

Raveen's life was a testament to the power of love, dedication, and unwavering strength. As we remember her, let's celebrate her life and honor her memory by emulating her kindness and perseverance.

To celebrate the radiant life of Raveen, there will be a service on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at 3:00 pm at Powers Funeral Home located at 832 Ridgeway Road, Lugoff, South Carolina, 29078. Raveen will be available for viewing one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Rev. David Stratford will be officiating.
