To Vicky, Joy, Heyward, and your families,
Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. I have many fond memories of your family from growing up, and I know how much your loved one meant to all of you.
May God surround each of you with His peace, strength, and comfort in the days ahead. Hold on to the precious memories, the love you shared, and the blessings that will always remain in your hearts.
My father treasured your family’s friendship, and I will always remember the special times our families shared together.
With heartfelt sympathy and prayers

I will miss my father dearly. Our relationship was not perfect, and life took us down different paths, but he was still my father, and I loved him. One of the greatest sorrows I will carry is that I was never given the opportunity to say goodbye. I will always wish I had one more conversation, one more hug, and one more chance to tell him that I loved him. The last time we spoke, I shared the exciting news of a new position. He was so proud, and hearing that pride in his voice is a memory I will treasure forever.
For 45 years, he and my mother, Vickie, built a life together and raised my brother Heyward and myself. That history is an important part of who I am, and I will always be grateful for the sacrifices he made throughout my childhood and the lessons he taught me. Grief is complicated. It can hold love, hurt, gratitude, and unanswered questions all at once. Today, I choose to remember my father, to honor the good memories we shared, and to pray that he is at peace. Rest peacefully, Dad. I love you, and I always will. I will always be your baby girl.

Dad you are one of the strongest men I know. Thank you for instilling so many amazing values in me. You have taught me to keep pushing even in the midst of mess. You have taught me to stand up for myself. You have taught me that I come from a line of strength and intelligence that is a force to be reckoned with. Dad you are so special to me and I love you forever.

Kenny had such a kind soul and a great sense of humor. Remembering when we first met, as his son, Heyward, and my daughter, April, and all their children were becoming part of Kenny’s family. We were welcomed with love.
Kenny was a man of strength and honor and loved his children and grandchildren. May the angels lead him to heaven.
Joy and Heyward, please remember death leaves a heartache no one can heal. Love leads a memory no one can steal.
“Blessed are they that mourn, they shall be comforted.” Matthew 5:4
