Obituary of Violet S. Branham

Ridgeway – Funeral service for Violet Sybil Taylor Branham, 87, will be held on Friday, July 24, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints - Ridgeway Ward with burial to follow in the Centerville Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Mrs. Branham, wife of the late LeGrand Branham, passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at Beechwood at Karesh Longterm Care Center.  She worked as a waitress for many years and later retired from Richland School District 2 where she worked in the cafeteria.  She enjoyed thrifting and never missed an opportunity to yard sale or frequent the flea market.  Other interests of hers include fishing, cooking, gardening and listening to country music.  Her family was her priority and spending time with them gave her the greatest joy.

Surviving are her sons, James Alan Branham (Melissa) of Camden and Ronald Lin Branham (Stacy) of Lugoff; grandchildren, Daniel Branham, Joseph Branham, Austin Branham and Emily Miller; and great-grandchildren, Joshua Rhodes, Preston Rhodes and Elijah Branham.  She was predeceased by a son, Ricky Branham; granddaughter, Heather Branham; and siblings, LeRoy Taylor, Dorothy Johnstone, Edna Butts, Jack Taylor, and Gladys Kellner.
