Ivan Franklin Guinn, Jr. Obituary

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of a beloved husband, father, and friend, Ivan Franklin Guinn, Jr. Born on October 22, 1952, in Camden, SC, Frank was a beacon of light, laughter, and love to all those who had the privilege of knowing him. His infectious laughter, positive attitude, and unrelenting commitment to helping others left a lasting imprint on the hearts of many, making his departure from this world on July 1, 2026, all the more poignant.

Frank was a Trade Support Manager with DuPont and Invista, he was known for his diligence and dedication. However, his character shone brightest away from the office. He was an avid woodworker, the fruits of which can be found in  his homes. On evenings and weekends, he could be found on the golf course, or out on the water boating. The beach was his haven, a place where he found peace and tranquility. He was a lover of comedy, and never missed an opportunity to share a laugh.

Frank's true joy in life was his family. He was an adoring husband to Ginger, his wife of nearly 55 years. Their love story, beginning on October 8, 1971, was one for the ages, marked by mutual respect, shared laughter, and unwavering devotion. His legacy continues through his daughter, Cameron Guinn McMehan of Camden; son, Tripp Guinn (Tiffany) of Camden; brothers, Creig Guinn (Sharon) of Lugoff and Mike Guinn of Camden; and grandchildren, West McMehan, Lilli Guinn, Eli Guinn and Jayden Jolly.  He was predeceased by a brother, Mark Guinn.

A service to celebrate Frank's life will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at 4:00 pm at The Paddock, 514 Rutledge Street, Camden, S.C.  29020.
