Alphonso Wall, born on July 13, 1974, in Charleston, SC, departed this life on May 27, 2026. He was a humble and funny man, whose laughter and kindness will be remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Alphonso resided in Rembert, South Carolina, where he lived a fulfilling life filled with love and adventure. He married his loving wife, Shemikia Wall, on December 12, 2012, and their life together was a testament to their shared love and respect. Alphonso was a dedicated long-distance truck driver, a profession that allowed him to explore the open roads, which mattered most to him. Alphonso embodied this spirit of adventure, finding joy in each journey he took in his 18 wheeler.  When he wasn’t on the road, he enjoyed working in his yard, fishing, barbecuing, and cheering for his favorite football teams. 

Alphonso is survived by his wife, Shemikia Wade Wall; son, Quennell Wall of Rembert; his mother, Lou Esther Wall Blake of Kingstree; brothers, Lorenzo Wall (Pamela) and Jimmy Wall (Phylicia); mother-in-law, Frances Concil of Rembert;  father-in-law, Horace Wade Jr. of Rembert; brothers-in-law, Hawatha Wade (Nikki), Travis Wade, and Sherman Council; sister-in-law, Krystle Wade-Miller (Lakeith); and a host of beloved nieces, nephews and cousins that he held dear to his heart.  He was predeceased by his grandmother, Elizabeth "Hawk" Wall.

A celebration of life service for Alphonso will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at 12:00 pm at Powers Funeral Home, located at 832 Ridgeway Road, Lugoff, South Carolina, 29078.
