James Albert Graham, Jr., a longtime resident of Camden, South Carolina, was born on March 7, 1964, in Bishopville, SC. James, known for his love of horses and passion for cooking, peacefully passed away on May 28, 2026.

James found great joy in his career within the equine industry as a Horse Walker, a role he cherished until his retirement. His love for horses extended beyond his profession and into his personal life, where he found solace and companionship. James also had a knack for building and construction, often spending his free time working on various projects. He was a passionate cook who loved to share his culinary creations with friends and family. His dishes were as well-loved as his warm personality and his generous spirit.

James is survived by his loving sisters, Violet Graham, Beverly Rimer; his brother, Terry Heriot; god-sister, Deborah Davis; special aunt, Dorothy Halley; special cousins, Michael Halley, Matthew Halley; companion, Gina Dervin; and numerous other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Desline Graham; his father, James Sr.; and a sister, Mae Frances Cotton. Public viewing for James will be held at Powers Funeral Home, located at 832 Ridgeway Road, Lugoff, South Carolina, 29078, on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at 12:00pm. The funeral service will immediately follow the viewing, beginning at 1:00pm at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family or funeral home to assist with funeral costs.
