With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Cheryl Ann Davis Hendrix, born September 25, 1948, in Hartsville, SC. She was a woman of great strength, enduring spirit, and a heart filled with love for her family, especially her grandchildren.  She was a homebody, with a sweet soul and no filter at times. The comfort of her presence, and the joy she derived from the simple pleasures of life, like golf cart rides and watching "Days of Our Lives," will be deeply missed.

Left to cherish her memories are her children, Dawn Jones (Jeff), Chris Hendrix (Kim) and Shawn Hendrix; brother, Corey Davis (Gigi) and Phyllis Vestal (Neal); grandchildren, Mary Bratsos (Shan), Hannah Irick (Cole), Alan Jones (Allison), Michael Hendrix, Mikey Cogdell, Austin Higgins and Cassie Hendrix; great grandchildren, Colton Bratsos, Bella Irick, Josie Irick, Connor Bratsos, Wyatt Jones, Delaney Jones and Heidi Jones; and dog, Tritan. 

Cheryl Ann Davis was preceded in death by her beloved parents, James and Mildred Davis; daughter-in-law, Mary Hendrix; and granddaughter, Regan Jones.  

A memorial service honoring the life of Mrs. Hendrix will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 12:00 pm at Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow the service in Quaker Cemetery, Camden, SC.
