Aubrey Eugene Andrews, a cherished grandfather, father, and friend, passed away on May 15, 2026, at the age of 63. Born on January 9, 1963, Aubrey was raised in Columbia and was a long time resident of Lugoff, South Carolina. Known for his unyielding faith, Aubrey was a devoted man of God who lived his life with an unwavering devotion to his beliefs and values.

In his professional life, Aubrey was a respected carpenter, a craft he carried into his retirement from Roy's Wood Products. His love for creating extended into his personal passions as well, which included woodworking, building, and beekeeping. His hands were seldom idle, often tending to his garden or working on a new project. He was particularly proud of his recovery journey and used his personal experiences to help others in their own recovery. His spirit of giving and strength will forever be a testament to his character.

Above all, Aubrey's life was centered around his family. His joy was magnified in his role as a grandfather, a role he cherished with all his heart. His legacy of love and dedication will live on in the lives of those he loved.  He leaves behind his loving daughter, Alyssa Bridges; son, Aubrey Andrews; step-children, Rachel Otero (Tomas), Nick Buchaluk (Whitney); grandchildren, Arya Bridges, Alexander Bridges, Wyatt Otero, Rowan Otero, Sterling Otero, John Buchaluk; a sister, June Barnes (Neco); and a sister-in-law, Kristy Bowen. Aubrey was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mildred Andrews, and siblings, Barbara Richardson and Joel Bowen.

A celebration of life service for Aubrey will be held Tuesday, May 26 at 5:00 pm at Powers Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
