ELGIN – Mrs. Sandra Gale Rust passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2026.  Born in Pasadena, TX, she was the daughter of the late Edwin Richard Cunningham and Dora Belle May Cunningham Peth.

Surviving is her husband, William “Bill” Frederick Rust; cousins, James Booth (Suzanne) of N.C. and Curt Booth (Kitty Kat) of Az. She was predeceased by her sister, Dion Cunningham.

Services will be held at a later date.
