Bill was one of the kindest, most loving, and generous men you could ever meet. He loved his family deeply. He also had a special place in his heart for animals. A lifelong dog lover, he became a cat lover as well after he and Montez adopted their beloved cat, Gracie.
Bill enjoyed working on antique cars and spent many happy hours searching flea markets for antique tools to display in his garage. In his younger years, he could often be found on the golf course or cheering on the Gamecocks at a football game.
Funeral services for Bill will be held Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. at St. Andrew Church of God with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Scott Hodge will officiate. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
