Brandon James Butler, also affectionately known as "Uncle B" by his nephews, passed away on April 9th, 2026. Born in Charlotte, NC, on August 5th, 1996, Brandon spent his whole life infusing joy into the lives around him. He was the life of every party, a beacon of laughter and happiness to all who knew him. Known for his love of the outdoors, passion for working on small engines, and his thrill for flying drones, Brandon's spirit was as vast and diverse as his interests.

Brandon was an accomplished landscaper, dedicating his profession to the lawn care business. His love for the outdoors was reflected not only in his chosen career but also in the time he spent outside of work. His enthusiasm was infectious, and his passion for making people smile was unparalleled. Those who had the privilege of knowing Brandon can attest to his radiant spirit and the joy he brought into their lives.

Brandon is survived by his mother, Tricia Nichols; father, Gary Butler; his son, Justin Butler; his fiancé, Megan Beckworth; grandparents, Joseph and Joyce Wood; sisters, Corrin Gibson, Arianna Marshall; and nephews, Tate Gibson and Benjamin Marshall-Stephens. 

A visitation will be held in Brandon's honor on Friday, April 24th, 2026, from 5-6 pm at Powers Funeral Home, located at 832 Ridgeway Road, Lugoff, South Carolina, 29078. A memorial will follow at the same location at 6:00 pm. Bishop Raymond Jenkins will officiate.
