Paul Edward Rogers, passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2026. He was born in Clay City, KY on May 25, 1959. Paul's life was a journey filled with many exciting chapters. He served in the United States Army. While in the military he received his Army Service Ribbon, Army Lapel Button, National Defense Service Medal, Southwest Asia Service Medal with Bronze Service Star-2, Kuwait liberation Medal (Saudi Arabia), M16 Marksman Badge, NCO Professional Development Ribbon and Overseas Service Ribbon. He married his wife, Nam Thi Tran Rogers 44 years ago in Texas. He carried a love for the outdoors and adventure that never waned. He was an active member of the Star Riders Elgin Chapter, where his love for motorcycles found a shared space with like-minded individuals. Away from the hustle and bustle of work, Paul found solace in his hobbies. He was an avid NASCAR fan, a skilled pool player, a bowling enthusiast, and a competitive racquetball player.
Paul's legacy will continue to live on through his loving wife, Nam Rogers; daughter, Jacqueline Rogers (Justin Scherer) of Tampa, FL; bonus children, Michael Marlatt (Niki) of Atlanta, GA; Cathy Codispoti (Andre) of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren, Leo Marlatt of Atlanta, GA and Sophia Codispoti of Atlanta, GA; and siblings, Eunice Starr (Richard) of Lexington, KY and Joyce Bates.
He was predeceased by one sister, Linda Snowden.
Services for Mr. Rogers will be privately held.
