Sylvia Haley Kirkland, 75, passed away on Monday, March 30, 2026. Born in Camden, SC, on June 19, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Reuben Isaac Haley and Jessie Lee Ernest Haley. As a little girl Sylvia enjoyed playing softball for her local rec league. Sylvia managed The Waterford in Columbia, SC for many years. In her free time she enjoyed going to estate and garage sales. She is known for her giving heart and compassionate soul, always seeking to help others. Ms.Kirkland loved the Lord and was a faithful member of Crossway Church in Lugoff, SC. 

Left to cherish her memories are her siblings, Gwen Catoe and her brother Steve Haley (Thelma); sisters-in-law, Barbara Haley and Carolyn Haley; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased By her parents and brothers Sylvester, Charles and Tracy Haley.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at 11:00 am at Crossway Church in Lugoff, SC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
