George was born on July 11, 1963, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota to Russell Bruce Miller I and Audrey LaFayne Chavis Miller. He passed away peacefully on March 27, 2026.

George was a simple man who loved to do and cook for others.

George had a successful career in law enforcement for 23 years. He always enjoyed hunting, fishing, arrowhead hunting, metal detecting and his time with the volunteer fire department.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by, his brother, Roger Brian Miller,his maternal grandparents, Clinton Leon Chavis and Della Louise Tanner Chavis Parry, his paternal grandparents, Henry X Miller and Bertha Julia Gross Miller, and his niece, Morgan Miller Griffin.

George is survived by his beloved pets, Oz, Bella, Angel and Artimus, sisters, Robin Miller Griffin (Rusty), Sandra Miller Rankin, Melissa Miller Lyles (Ray), brother, Russell Bruce Miller II,  many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
