Eleanor Baggott Boulware, 94, passed away peacefully at home in Lugoff, SC, on March 22, 2026, with close family by her side. Born February 5, 1932, in Winnsboro, SC, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Carrie Havird Baggott.

Faith was a pillar in Eleanor’s life; she loved the Lord, read the Bible daily, and enjoyed watching church on Sunday and listening to the choir. Eleanor traveled extensively; she took day trips with her great friends Dot and Mary, and visited all 50 states and Europe. She enjoyed watching tennis, planting flowers and sitting on the front porch watching the birds. She was an avid Clemson Tigers football fan.

Eleanor is survived by her children Tonya Boulware, Cindy Freeman, Thomas O. “Tubby” Boulware, Jr. (Donna) and Angela Murray (Marvin); grandchildren Kelsey Boisvert (Chris), Byron “BJ” Freeman, Emily Baccomo (Jason), James Robert “Bubba” Boulware (Tara) and Jenna Murray (Kevin); and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Thomas O. Boulware, Sr.; her parents; and four siblings.

The family would like to express deep gratitude to the staff at MUSC Health Hospice Lugoff.

A service will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday, March 28, at Powers Funeral Home, 832 Ridgeway Rd, Lugoff SC 29078. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or a charity of one’s choosing.
